During a drive thru run at Wendy's, I wondered hard who the sign advertising gift cards was actually for.  I didn't have to wonder long after a quick peek in my friends wallet.  He claims a customer of his got it for him as a small token of appreciation for helping him get a vehicle financed.  So now it all makes sense... (not really!)  So if you are looking for that perfect gift for that special someone, hop on over to your local Wendy's and supply them with Frosty's for a year!

I am a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. This is the last game of the regular season for the NFL and obviously their last game until preseason starts in August. Notice my new shoes leaning against the wall. The Cowboys did beat the Eagles in this last game, but it was a little too late to start winning games at this point.  Hey, there is always next year!

Happy New Year!  Due to the pain of my broken ankle and the effects of the pain medicine, I slept through the entire event.  So to start off my new blog, as I am starting off my new year, here is my elevated ankle in my too heavy cast.  I sat in this same recliner and my Aunt and Uncles house for 2 weeks while they waited on me.  I can't say that it was a bad time, but I would have much rather been able to walk to the kitchen and make my own sandwich!
